About Sri Venkateswara University
Sri Venkateswara University is a public research university in Tirupati Andhra Pradesh. The university campus has a large plot of land granted by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. The university was founded in 1954 and is flanked by other educational institutions such as the Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences, the Sri Venkateswara Vedic University, and the Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, and the Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam. It is recognised by the UGC and approved by AICTE, Pharmacy Council of India, NCTE, Bar Council of India, and South Eastern Regional Office (SERO). It also has been accredited by NAAC with a grade of 'A+'. SVU Tirupati campus facilities include a library that has a membership of 6,397 people. It is housed in a large structure with 400 readers.
